# $PLX

Native token

$PLX is the native token for all Parallax Finance products and will be primarily used for the following purposes:

* **ve8020 model** — Timelock 80PLX/20ETH Balancer Pool Token to capture the majority of protocol fees
* **$yPLX** — Hold more of $yPLX for greater % of rewards
* **Strategist** — Hold tokens to suggest vault strategies in the DAO
* **Governance** — Hold tokens to participate and direct platform emissions to boost vaults
